Laura is a prolific vidder and author. She appears in the MIT vidding documentary. Laura was the recipient of the 2009 Paula Wilshe Award, the 2018 Marian Kelly Award, and was the editor of Here With You, a tribute zine to Kaye Austen Michaels.
Laura is a member of Chewing Gum for the Eyes Production, which assembled Walk the Walk, a two volume DVD set of fanvids.
