Lady Kardasi's Domain was the largest Kirk/Spock website that ran challenges and published e-zines from 1998 to 2009.
Fabulous mega K/S fan fic site that includes the on-line K/S zine "Side-By-Side", the Kirk/Spock Online Festival of 2000 & 2001, "Best of Both Worlds", The Spock Fuh-Q Fest, Greywolf's Lair (his stories), as well as Kira's own K/S fan fiction. There are also photomanipulations and other images that can be a explicit in nature. Note: Large portion of the site was password protected as of January 15, 2003. Follow instructions on website to get access.
It also hosted other Trek, mainly Deep Space Nine. Smallville fandom and the first Harry Potter Snarry challenges were also hosted at Kardasi. It also hosted The Sentinel Zone, a fandom page The Sentinel.[2]
The site was popular among a wide variety fans across many fandoms, with a comments section Chat at #Kardasi and a guestbook.[3][note 2]
It closed in 2010, after a numerous instability problems, when the domain registration was bought out from under kira-nerys and its content was mostly WIPED.
The origin of the site's name was always a little doubt among fans, until according to one of them the word was part of a fictional language:
The word Kardasi is not canon. It comes from Esther Schrager's beautiful creation of the Cardassian Language[4] named just that.– Carolyn (talimgetal) [5][note 3]

According to the site's first guestbook comment by kira-nerys, Lady Kardasi's Domain was started on December 25, 1998:
Well, not another site from kira-nerys... not another guestbook I have to sign eh? Well - yes, unfortunately. I moved the adult archives here because I am told this provider accepts adult material whereas Geocities doesn't... so here we are... Welcome and enjoy - I hope.– kira-nerys [5]
His previous website Gul Dukat's Romantic Homepage is a webring part of the Cardassia Forever site hosted at the neighborhood Area51, in the suburbs Area51/Dreamworld/.

Rather, a person named Esther on aol, who is a linguist by trade, has constructed a Cardassian language of her own, used by fans, by the name Kardasi. She always is happy to see her words used, but appreciates having an acknowledgement of her work, as it took her a long time to construct the language and grammar. In addition, if you are interested in learning more of the language, she has a page up and I'd be happy to send you the URL either to look at or link to.
