Kakuzu x Hidan is a yaoi pairing in Naruto fandom. They are partners who work together for the Akatsuki. Fans ship them because they have a fun dynamic where they bicker a lot. Despite this, Kakuzu genuinely cares for Hidan when he is in danger, and on one occasion, he keeps the headband that he inadvertently dropped while fighting. When Hidan takes it, he tells Kakuzu to admit that he likes him a bit.
History
Kakuhida has been one of Akatsuki's most popular couples, despite only appearing on screen for a short time. In February 2011, puppygal321 started a challenge on DA called "Kakuhida Revolution 10000!" whose goal was to bring kakuhida global submissions to 10000 by January 2012. The Kakuhida Week started being celebrated in 2017 around October, and it still is, to this day.

- Modern AU -- In modern AUs Kakuzu's job is usually related to money or finances. Sometimes Hidan's job is related to religion, being a servant of Jashin in canon.
- Canon Divergence -- Where they don't die and have their happy ending.
- Mission Fic -- Usually ending up murdering someone together.
- BDSM -- Because Hidan is canonically a masochist, smut usually contains these themes. Bloodplay and Tentacles (Because of Kakuzu's thread ability) are not uncommon.
