DrWorm is a fan writer and fan artist. He takes his pseud from the They Might Be Giants song.[1]
He was active in fandoms including Gundam Wing and X-Men: Evolution as early as 2001. In Harry Potter fandom, he was an early Remus/Harry shipper.[2]
In Back to the Future fandom, DrWorm was a George/Marty McFly shipper and ran the 60 Seconds to Eternity archive for the pairing. He described himself as "something of a pariah in BttF fandom" due to his shipping preferences.[3] He was a Crispin Glover fan and also started a fansite and LiveJournal community for the film Willard.
By 2010, DrWorm had "basically dropped out of fandom."[4]

Fan Comments
["That Feeling, You Can Only Say What It Is In French"] should be read by anyone who thinks people who write fanfic do it because they themselves are devoid of imagination sufficent to create a real world and living characters in it. This is a perfect example of taking something the mass media gives you and taking it off into a dimension of your own, injecting it with your own psychology and take on the universe, making it meanigful in a personal way, all those things I thing fanfic should aspire to and rearely achieves with any kind of artfullness.– Nightspore, 2003 [9]
