Doubleleaf (also known as GB) is a big-name fanartist located in Hyogo, Japan. One fan in the subreddit r/gaymers called her "King of Homoerotic Video Game Art".[1]
Her "Yogurt Night" series of pinup-style pictures is quite popular, and has inspired other fanartists, and even cosplay.[2][3][4][5] In the artist's own words: "Yogurt Night is a series of drawings which involve men character with bare chest, pink spoon and a dab of yogurt for no reason." The series began in December 2009 with a requested picture of Desmond Miles from Assassin's Creed.[6]
She did some of the official cover art for the comic series Assassin's Creed: Uprising and Assassin's Creed: Awakening.[7][8]
I've been a fan of AC from the first game and have drawn tons of fan art since then. One day I got an email from one of the editors at Titan Comics, who had been in discussions with the community manager of Assassin’s Creed and had suggested me as a possible artist for one of the covers.[9]
She has also done artwork for the indie gay visual novel Coming Out On Top, as well as several Voltage visual novels.[10]
