Clay Kaczmarek is a character in the Assassin's Creed universe, first appearing as "Subject 16" (voice only) in Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and then as a computer simulation in Assassin's Creed: Revelations. A DLC for Revelations, The Lost Archive explored his backstory further. The living Subject 16 appeared in a minor role in the non-canon Les Deux Royaumes comic, but he was named "Michael"; this is presumably because it was printed before his name was revealed in Revelations. Due to his surname, it is assumed by fandom that Clay has Polish ancestry. Some fanworks even include him speaking Polish fluently.[2]
