Cress, Member of the Shadow Triad?
It was a popular theory before the release of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 that Cress, along with his brothers, were actually members of the Shadow Triad. The triad is a trio of masked characters who are loyal to Ghetsis above all, and are uncharacterized otherwise.
Although B2W2 debunked the theory, it is still popular for fanworks to delve into the idea further and how such a drastic twist could've effected the gym leader trio.
