i absolutely adore calanthe and eist’s relationship. eist is completely besotted by his very sexy very headstrong wife and doesn’t try to hide it in the slightest (sometimes he’s a bit too much on the lewd side but i will forgive him because i get it, mr tuirseach, i get it); but we can also see calanthe loves him so much too, even if her way of showing it is not as loud, but it’s equally obvious. and he loves her family as if it was his own, so much so that even his absolute abidance of destiny's rules are altered.
