Asirpa is the co-protagonist of Golden Kamuy, along with Sugimoto Saichi. She is one of the most popular characters within the fandom, along with breakout character Ogata Hyakunosuke.
Asirpa survived the Ainu gold hunt created by Wilk, her father, and is last seen living in her kotan hanging out with Sugimoto three years after the story ended.

Due to being around 12-14 in a series prominently filled with adults, the majority of fanworks involving Asirpa pairings are gen (combi in Japanese.) Asirpa & Sugimoto Saichi is her most popular ship, as her and Sugimoto are strong allies, friends, and partners. Asirpa/Sugimoto Saichi is also popular for the same reasons.
