Asahina x Oogami, most known as Sakuraoi and/or Sakuhina, is a popular coupling within Dangan Ronpa fandom. The ship is between Aoi Asahina and Sakura Oogami, both prominent characters. It has been shipped since Dangan Ronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc was released in 2010 and has been consistently popular since.
Both Japanese and English-speaking DR fandom have fanac for Asahina x Oogami.

- Discussion of Suicide: Fanworks may delve into Asahina's grief regarding Oogami's suicide.
- Shared Femininity Complexes: Both Asahina and Oogami have complexes over their perceived masculine interests.

Many works of fancomics, fanart and fanfic for Asahina x Oogami can be found on Archive of Our Own, Tumblr, Wattpad, Instagram and Amino, among other websites. The most kudos'd fanwork on Archive of Our Own featuring only this pairing as its featured ship is The Hope Out Here by estuary[1] as of December 2023. The fic was written back when Dangan Ronpa was eligible for Yuletide in 2012 and was likely one of the first works fics written for English-speaking DR fandom.
Asahina x Oogami is a staple of Femslash February. The pairing also won the Danganronpa Femslash February Bracket in 2023[2].
