Femslash100 is a multifandom femslash fan fic drabble community on LiveJournal and Dreamwidth. It runs weekly challenges, ongoing challenges, and drabbletags, and allows posting of fics between 100 and 250 words. It is affiliated with femslash_today and is part of the girlwank family of femslash-focused livejournal communities. Drabbles posted to AO3 can be added to the collection.
Drabble Lengths
While participants are allowed to post fics anywhere between 100 and 250 words, the mods acknowledge several specific word count numbers: 100, 111, 123, 150, 200, 222, and 250 words.
Challenges & Events
Weekly Challenges
Every week, the mods post a weekly challenge, which consists of a single word or phrase. Participants are allowed to post only drabbles that fit that week's prompt, though every 10th challenge is a Remainder Period when participants may post drabbles filling any previous prompt. As of 2 August 2014, 418 challenges have been posted.
Drabble Cycle
Periodically, the mods solicit suggestions for Drabble Cycle themes. After a theme is voted on by the community, a prompt table is posted and members may claim the table for a fandom or pairing. They are then given a deadline before which they must write drabbles filling the table for that fandom or pairing. Original fiction is allowed for the Drabble Cycles. The most recent completed Drabble Cycle was themed Astrology, with a prompt table of 12 astrological symbols, and it closed on 31 July 2014. The current Drabble Cycle is themed Kinks with three prompt table options: a full table of 30 prompts, a mini table of 10 pre-selected prompts, or a self-selected 10 prompt mini table.
DrabbleTag
Periodically, the mods host a drabbletag, which is a threaded prompt free-for-all in which participants write to a prompt and then leave three more prompts for other participants to fill. As of 24 November 2015, DrabbleTag6 is ongoing.
