Amireal is an active member of fandom currently writing in Stargate Atlantis.

Amireal started online fandom on the Star Wars messageboards in the mid-nineties before discovering usenet, where she was a full-time lurker in ASC around 1995. She soon after joined the X-Files and Homicide mailing lists and was actively reading on the Gossamer. By the late nineties, she was a member of Prospect-L, Senad, and several HL and Sentinel mailing lists, though it wasn't until 2002 and Angel the Series that she started writing.[1]

Amireal then joined the Harry Potter fandom in 2002, where she primarily wrote Harry Potter/Severus Snape, then went on to produce fic in Star Wars (2002) and Due South (2003).

Amireal spent the summer of 2004 in the CSI fandom, where she wrote several CSI/Buffy the Vampire Slayer and CSI/Angel the Series crossovers.

In late 2004, Amireal joined the Stargate Atlantis fandom, where she contributed several popular stories, including Where Did All the Physics Go?, a Stargate Atlantis/Star Trek: The Original Series Crossover and Scenes from a Lesser War, one of her most popular stories: one that dealt with the revoking of DADT. She co-wrote with Seperis,[2] but her most regular writing partner was Trinityofone, with whom she produced the controversial Stargate Atlantis/SGA RPS novel And Be One Traveler, posted on October 31, 2006.

She continues to be active in Stargate Atlantis.
