Comments
I discovered K/S some four years ago and began writing myself around two years ago. Believe me all you wonderful ladies out there, it has helped me a great deal in coming to terms with a lot of things in my life that could be better, I don't know so much that it's sheer escapism or pure enjoyment that keeps me hooked, probably a mixture of the two. No other slash fandom comes close to the emotional depth evident in the K/S. No other slash couple have the appeal and charisma of Kirk and Spock (in my humble opinion!) [1]
One of Hooker's Stories Sparked a Long Discussion
A fan's review of Hooker's 1995 story, As Others See Us, sparked a long and complicated discussion. See The 1995-1996 Criticism Discussion: "As Others See Us".
