Reactions and Reviews

A gripping 79 - page slave - story. This time Spock is not the typical slaver, but the worldly and starry-eyed son of a cruel father. He acquires by chance a very young and beautiful slave (guess who...) who shares his loneliness. Of course both have much to endure till the happy ending... This story has a lot of good ideas! I liked that lone - sided) love scene on p. 73/74 - whew, highly erotic and so full of love! And that mountain fortress was chilling. Spock reminded me of "The Count of Monte Christo" (the scene, when Dante's was in the dungeon). Great!

I think Spock was a bit too human; I had loved to see more of the proud warrior inside him. The reader caught only a glimpse of him on p. 73.

The writing style was now and then a bit uneven.

I love ST V stories. I love the older men and so does this author. This was very AU but everyone stayed in character.
