Acinonyx1 is mainly a Baldur's Gate III and My Hero Academia fan who has been active in fandom since 2016. They are a fanwriter primarily focusing on the Astarion/Halsin and Bakugou Katsuki/Kirishima Eijirou pairings.

Acinonyx1 is perhaps best know as a Baldur's Gate III BNF fanwriter, particularly due to the popularity of their Halstarion story, Perceived Impressions, which soon after its publishing, became the most kudo'd and bookmarked fanfic in the entire Baldur's Gate fandom, by a large margin. This is notorious, considering that the Baldur's Gate III Juggernaut ship is Tavstarion, and Halstarion stories are very short in number when in comparison.

Common Tropes

All of Acinonyx1's fanfiction is either Explicit or Mature rated, with Anal Sex, creampies and Size difference being their most used tags on AO3. They usually wrote PWP but after joining the Baldur's Gate III fandom they have ventured into multi-chaptered stories. All of their BNHA stories are AUs.

• Perceived Impressions (forced proximity and whump, Halstarion) When Astarion awakens in the aftermath of the Nautiloid crash, it is not to a friendly face but the press of goblin steel against his cheek. Now a captive of the Absolute, he is left starving and huddled in the corner, waiting for the beast that shares his cell to finally strike. Bears, after all, are not known to be the most gracious killers. (2023/2024)

• Ravenous (Blood kink and Size difference, Tavstarion) When the Shadow-Cursed lands lack suitable prey, Astarion distracts himself from the hunger with sex until he can’t anymore. (2023)
• The Satisfaction of Bruised Knees (Unhealthy Coping Mechanisms, Face Fucking, Tavstarion) Astarion is all too used to being on his knees for someone. Sometimes, he just needs Tav to take him back to that feeling. (2023)
• A Break in the Illusion (Developing Relationship, Halstarion) Astarion wants to hide during sex. Halsin does not let him. (2023)
• White Linen in Red's Embrace (Dragon!Kirishima, Praise Kink, KiriBaku) For the villagers a virgin sacrifice means salvation. For Bakugou it means he won’t survive the night. Except the horned man whose home he awakens in seems to have little interest fulfilling such depressing expectations. Instead, Kirishima shares his home; his food, his bed, his warmth and takes care of Bakugou in a way no one else ever has. (2021)
• Untouched (Somnophilia, Dub-Con, Thorki) Thor takes advantage of Loki while he sleeps. (2016)
• Inexperienced Hands (First time, Victuuri) Yuuri curls his fingers and rubs and now he knows what Victor looks like when he blushes. It’s addictive, and when Yuuri presses over that spot again, he gets a pretty high pitched moan before Victor clamps his hand over his mouth and looks at Yuuri like he hadn’t meant to do that. (2023)
• False Dominance (Vampire Ascendant!Astarion, Hate sex, Collars, Halstarion) Newly ascended Astarion finds Halsin will not be the submissive pet he desires him to be. (2023)
• Fight For Yourself (Hurt/Comfort, Eating Disorders, Self-harm, McHanzo) The story of how Hanzo ends up battling Genji’s eating disorder and ends up destroying himself without even noticing. And how it takes McCree for Hanzo to realise he doesn’t have to fight alone. (2017)
• The Blue Above His Smile (Alternative Universe, Magistrate!Astarion, Size Difference, Age Gap, Loss of Virginity, Halstarion) Astarion is only 39 when he’s assigned to welcome a druid party into Baldur’s Gate. Halsin has a reputation in the city and is all too willing to show the young elf what the touch of another man can do. (2024)
