Yuusaku Hanazawa is a major character from the manga Golden Kamuy. Although he himself does not have many scenes, the dynamic relationship he has with his older brother Hyakunosuke Ogata propels him to become one of the more fanwork'd characters in Golden Kamuy's cast. It's for this reason that he's primarily known as Yuusaku rather than by his last name (as this is what Ogata calls him.)
Yuusaku was murdered prior to the events of Golden Kamuy by Ogata during the Battle of 203 Hill, where surrounding fire hid that he had been the one to shoot him.

Yuusaku's most popular pairing, (coupling in Japanese-speaking GK fandom,) by far is with Hyakunosuke Ogata, forming Yuusaku x Ogata. In terms of fanac, Yuusaku x Ogata is the second-most popular pairing in the entirety of Golden Kamuy fandom, both English and Japanese-speaking.
