Ratings and Abbreviations

This archive is committed to free speech and expression in writing. Writing of all types is encouraged. The following is a list of ratings and abbreviations that may be helpful to understanding the content of stories on this archive, and determining whether the subject matter is of interest to you, or involves a subject you may wish to avoid.

G - General, all audiences. If there is no rating after a story, then it is considered a G-rated story.

PG - Parental Guidance Suggested. There may be some swear words, some violence, sexual themes.

PG-13 - Not recommended for children under 13. Again, strong language, curse words, possibly adult situations, sexual themes, violence.

R - For the purpose of this archive, you should avoid R rated stories if you are under the age of 18. May have graphic violence, strong language, and/or explicit sexual conduct.

Lemon - Lemon is currently being added into the archive. Changes are taking place slowly, but surely. No one under the age of 18 should read a Lemon story, please avoid such stories if they are offensive to you or illegal under the standards of your locality. Lemon stories may have extreme violence, intense adult situations, and graphics depictions of sexual acts.

M/M - Male/Male romantic relationship

H/C - Hurt/Comfort scenes or situations, i.e. when one of the invariably two protagonists is hurt and the other has to look after the hurt one. Usually results in indepth conversations and comfort. The pain can be physical or emotional.

PWP - Plot? What Plot? (i.e. often a graphic sex scene)

In addition to the warnings next to the title of the stories, the authors often include warnings as to the content of their stories in a prelude to the story. Please read and respect these warnings.
