UFO is a British science-fiction series from the early 1970s. It was made by the same team that created the Supermarionation series. In the show aliens attack earth to harvest the humans' organs, while the main characters belong to a covert agency, SHADO, that defends earth. Their cover is a movie studio (thus keeping production costs down, while having a neat Watsonian explanation why a sf series should take place in a movie studio).
