The Like is an all-girl band associated with the Bandom canon.

The band went through several line-up changes, with the core members being singer/guitarist Z Berg and drummer Tennessee Thomas. The latest outfit includes Laena Geronimo (bass, violin) and Annie Monroe (keys). Former members are Charlotte Froom (bass) and Reni Lane (keys/organ).

The band has been on hiatus since 2011.

See Wikipedia page for detail.

Presence in Fandom

The Like became linked to Bandom in 2009 through Z's canon relationship with Ryan Ross (Panic! at the Disco, The Young Veins), before acquiring a small femslash following of their own. The first stories tagged "The Like" appear on AO3 in December 2009.[1]

The Like are often included in pan-Bandom AUs that need (more) female characters.

Ships

The following numbers are taken from AO3 tag uses, however the statistical importance of ships is hard to evaluate as many works originally posted on LJ or DW have not been reposted to the archive.

Intra-band Ships

  • Z/Tennessee: 35 uses[2]
  • Leana/Annie: 5 uses[3]
  • Z/Charlotte: 4 uses[4]
  • GSF in all lineups also exists.
