Duplicate Page
This page exists as well as Rapunzel (Disney) which look to me similar enough to be merged unless there are reasons to have two pages. -Dragoness (talk) 01:53, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
- I don't think there's a reason for two pages. Both pages deal with Tangled as well as other fandoms where Rapunzel is a character - so they're both designed to be pages about one Disney character who appears in multiple fandoms. I think this is just a case of an accidental duplication and we can merge the two pages. I can do that now. I will add the Rapunzel (Disney) content here (only because this page seems a little longer) and then Rapunzel (Disney) can be the redirect.
- Question - do we also have two pages for Flynn?? We have Flynn Rider (Eugene Fitzherbert) and Eugene Fitzherbert. Are these two pages refering to the same character from Tangled? --Auntags (talk) 21:23, 17 January 2022 (UTC)

Maybe make a separate page for the fairy tale?
I'm sorry I'm late for this since the page has already been moved, but the page for Grimm's Fairy Tales has a link here and I feel it's confusing for fans who are looking for information on fannish activities focusing on the original Rapunzel (see: Wikipedia:Rapunzel) to find a page that is dedicated to the Disney version.
The fairy tale fandom is small, but it exists. There even is a tag on the Ao3: Rapunzel (Fairy Tale) and I found lovely fanart predating the Disney movie (I think it was released in 2010?) on DeviantArt (see: Rapunzel, 2007, by sousakuteki for example, there is more). - I was actually thinking that as well, that Rapunzel was a character that existed long before Disney, maybe we could call the second page "Rapunzel (fairy tale)" or we could call the Disney version "Rapunzel (Disney)" and leave the Rapunzel page for the fairy tale character -- Kingstoken (talk) 14:55, 18 January 2022 (UTC)

- It's never too late to rollback a change! Correct me if I'm wrong, the info on this page currently relates only to the Disney character, is that right? So we could have a disambiguation page, Rapunzel, that links to two pages Rapunzel (fairytale character) and Rapunzel (Disney).
