Talk:Onmyouji (trope)

From what I can tell, "Onmyouji" isn't a fandom-exclusive term, and so doesn't really fit the definition of glossary terms that we use on Fanlore. Maybe this page would be better as a Trope/Genre, like Cats or Vampire? --sparc (talk) 19:59, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

This page was requested over at Talk:Tokyo Babylon and Talk:Onmyouji (fandom). I wouldn't object to it being switched to a trope, since that's probably what it is in a fannish context. I would object to it being deleted, since Fantomas created it as the request of several editors, but I think we can avoid that. -the old briar pipe (talk) 05:10, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
I didn't even think of that and just followed the link from the Onmyouji disambiguation page when creating it, where it was "requested" as glossary term. Now that I think about it I suppose it should really be a Trope/Genre page like Shinsengumi.--Fantomas (talk) 09:37, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
I didn't mean to suggest that the page should be deleted, I think it's useful! I swapped the infoboxes and changed the disambiguation - does work as the page title? I was following the example of pages like Pirate (trope), but it can be changed if necessary :). --sparc (talk) 22:07, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
"Trope" works perfectly! Thank you. --Fantomas (talk) 09:41, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, Sparc! By the way, I think Miko is in the same boat, if you think that might also need to be moved? -the old briar pipe (talk) 17:20, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
It doesn't need to be disambiguated because it's the only page named "Miko" but I switched over the infobox to Trope/Genre. --sparc (talk) 21:20, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
Thank you so much! -the old briar pipe (talk) 23:54, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
