I'm a cosplayer from Germany and love reading up on fandom (anime and media fandoms in general). I'm mostly lurking about, though. I also love books and general geekery and nerdiness.
Fannish History
The first series I was really fanish about was Star Trek: The Next Generation and shortly after I discovered online fandom via Highlander and my starting interest in manga and anime. The first manga I ever read and loved was Ranma 1/2, but my most beloved fandom is probably Hunter x Hunter. Recently got into Doctor Who.
Around 2002 I went to my first anime convention (AnimagiC) and my fascination with cosplay was born. Between 2002-2008 I was very active as cosplayer and I still occasionaly go to conventions today.
