Talk:Aro Fandom
Hey OfMonstersAndWerewolves, I wont mess with the article since it's pretty new and being worked on, but wanted to drop a note in case it was relevant to the sections on canon for you. I know at least ONE aro/ace character, it's Alastor from Hazbin Hotel, and VivziePop stated it as canon. It seems like she may have discussed that on a livestream or video, based on the info from Alastor's fandom wiki article. I hope maybe that info could be relevant to talking about fandom and canon ace/aro characters! Patchlamb (talk) 01:18, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Patchlamb, sorry it took me a while to respond. I'll be sure to add it at some point. :) -- OfMonstersAndWerewolves (talk) 19:45, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
Should this be renamed to Aromanticism and Fandom, maybe? It would bring it in line with Asexuality and Fandom. Considering that I've seen "ace/aro fandom" as a pejorative by aphobes, I think that would be better. Pinging OfMonstersAndWerewolves as the page creator.Ebonwing (talk) 09:40, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
Ace Omens
Hey Rossi, I've just moved the Ace Omens zine example to the Asexuality and Fandom page as the zine seems to be focused on acespec identities rather than arospec ones. That being said I don't know enough about the zine, so if there's something I'm missing and there's a decent amount of aro rep in it too, please do mention. I just didn't want to conflate the two identities, that's all. -- OfMonstersAndWerewolves (talk) 19:07, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
