Con Report

Sadly enough Star Trek was practically ignored in favor of Star Wars and Logan's Run costumes. There were a few Starfleet costumes here and there, however. One excellent one was on a young man who looked astonishingly like a young Captain Kirk.

[...]

'Runner' - A very interesting game organized by fans. Actual 'runs' were enacted with Sandmen in uniforms and Runners in Citizens costumes or plain clothed. Based on Logan's run. Very realistic.

[...]

All in all, Starcon was an excellent convention. It took place in the El Cortez Hotel in San Diego. The fans were enthusiastic about practically everything, the events were well organized, the hotel staff were courteous and understanding. Young and old attended and enjoyed this convention. I am personally looking forward to the next con. [1]
