Beep-beep, Richie

In IT, The Losers Club collectively use the phrase "Beep-beep, Richie," to tell Richie Tozier when his jokes have gone too far. In fandom, this phrase is utilized in the same way, but it is also occasionally softened to show that his friends don't actually mean he should shut up but something more along the lines of you're a nerd or I can't believe I love you in a facetious, affectionate way.

Occasionally fandom will also use this term toward the other members of The Losers Club to make a point that Richie is not the only one who sometimes takes things too far.

Richie Tozier Wears Button Ups

One of the IT fandom's favorite pieces of clothing Richie Tozier wears in canon, were the Hawaiian button ups he wore in Chapter One. In Chapter Two he also wore a button up under his jacket. Therefore it is common practice to show him wearing a button up within fanart, and fanfiction. A great number of people also use this style of shirt to Cosplay as Richie.

At some point Hawaiian button ups even became associated with non-heterosexual identities. Due in part to Hayley Kiyoko wearing them frequently, and also due to the fact fandom largely considered Richie to be bisexual.
