"Plomeek Soup" (sometimes spelled "Plomik") is what Christine Chapel makes for Spock in the episode, Amok Time. It is inferred the soup is a nourishing, comfort food for Vulcans.

It is also described and referenced in later Trek canon. See Plomeek Soup at Memory Alpha.

A fairly regular feature in print zines are fans' recipes for "Plomeek Soup" (sometimes spelled "Plomik").

An internet search will bring up many other recipes for this soup, many of which produce a soup that is orange in color, and because Vulcans don't eat meat, vegetarian.

Included in Menus

The banquet was especially enjoyable, with a menu that kept everyone guessing. It included Tranya, Disdain ofKzin, Giant Eel Bird....roasted and stuffed with tribbles, Kaferian Apple Jelly, Baked Potato and Sour Cream, Puree des Ploomeeks au Beurre, Romulan Dessertcake and Terran Ice Cream. [1]

A Fan Thought About Soup

In 1998, a fan celebrated K/S Day with some food:

Originally I'd planned to fix a Vulcan meal to honor Spock but would you believe it - the local market was completely out of fresh plomeek, and that canned stuff is no good at all. Somehow split pea just didn't seem like a viable substitute, so I decided I'd have to settle for a nice leafy green salad... [2]
