Parallels is a type of image editing, similar to web weaving, where parallels are shown between certain characters or pairings, sometimes becoming a character study when creating these arts. Very popular on Tumblr, this type of edition also reached TikTok driven by musical trends, mainly with the popular song O Superman, partly because of the lyrics that say "Well, you don't know me, but I know you".
