Of Elves and Men is the archive of the Yahoo-Lists LOTR_Adult_Fiction[1] and Of Elves and Men SLASH.[2] It's an archive for for FPS and RPS and primarily focuses on "LOTR/LotRPS, but also offers categories for related fandoms (like POTC or Alatriste). Self upload coming soon."[3]
In September 2021, it was announced that Of Elves and Men would be moving to the Archive of Our Own as an Open Doors Project[4]. The import was completed in September 2022[5].

The site won first place in the My Precious Awards 2004 in the category Best LOTR Website and Best LOTR Yahoo Group. Awards were listed on a separate and linked to the Crossover Awards (2004), Golden Mallorn Awards (2003), Ishie Awards (2004), Middle-Earth Fanfiction Awards (MEFAs, 2004) and My Precious Awards (MPAs, 2003, 2004).[6]
