Lance/Silver, known mostly as AkaiShipping, MasterShipping and/or ワタシル (Watashiru), is a rare ship in the Pokémon fandom. It pairs Lance (Wataru) and Silver (Silver) from Pokémon Gold, Silver and Crystal. Lance is the Pokémon champion while Silver is the rival to the playable character, which may be Ethan, Kris or Lyra.
Most Lance/Silver fanworks focus on their appearances in the Pokémon Special manga. They've also appeared in the Pokémon game series. Although their manga counterparts have a different ship name than their gameverse counterparts in the English side of the fandom, (MasterShipping and AkaiShipping respectively,) this page covers both due to the rarity of the ships and because they are both labelled as ワタシル (Watashiru) in the Japanese side of the fandom.
Lance & Silver, where Lance acts more of like a mentor to Silver, is relatively more popular.
