Uchiha Itachi is a character from Naruto. Early in the series, he is one of the more prominent antagonists, primarily because of the lasting negative effects he has on his younger brother Uchiha Sasuke due to massacring their entire clan. Later on, it's revealed that Itachi was ordered to commit the murders, which jossed many fanworks and has lead some of the fandom to woobify him for his tragic backstory. He is a member of the terrorist group Akatsuki. In canon, he dies at the hands of his brother.
