Ginny/Cho is the femslash rarepair of Ginny Weasley and Cho Chang from the Harry Potter fandom.
Ginny and Cho can be speculated to have similar taste, considering they share not one but two ex-boyfriends: Michael Corner and Harry Potter. They were also both Seekers on their respective Quidditch teams. Their interaction in canon is limited.
Madam Hooch's Broom Closet wrote of the ship pre-Order of the Phoenix:
Part of the attraction of G/C is the angst factor -- both girls have had presumably traumamatic events in their pasts. There's also the amusing Girl Harry Likes/Girl Who Likes Harry element. Ginny/Cho is one of the few femmeslash ships about which people really do feel passionately. It's rare to find someone who ships both Hr/G and G/C. Incidentally, a good number of the femmeslash fandom's NC-17 stories are G/C stories, probably because of the aesthetic factor. There are also quite a few fluff stories involving this pairing.[3]
Common Tropes in Fanworks
- Many fics involve Quidditch in some capacity, since the two often played opposite each other.
- Recovering from trauma after the second wizarding war.
- Threesome or poly works involving Harry Potter.

She doesn’t cry this time. (2019)
