Gankutsuou (巌窟王), in English subtitled The Count of Monte Cristo, is a anime series loosely based on Alexandre Dumas's The Count of Monte Cristo. A manga adaptation was serialized in the seinen magazine Afternoon from 2005 to 2008.
Fandom
"Gankutsuou" is also used to refer to the Count of Monte Cristo in Fate/Grand Order. Since the character was introduced, the Pixiv tag 巌窟王 has been predominantly Fate/Grand Order content, but it's still used for the Gankutsuou series.
