Femmequixotic or Femme is a fan author and vidder, perhaps best known in the Harry Potter fandom, where she writes slash in multiple pairings, mainly Harry/Draco, Snape/Harry and Snape/Draco, as well as occasional gen and het. Much of her writing is adult rated. From 2007 to 2008 Femme served as the first chair of the OTW's Communications Committee. Femme was also co-chair of formal programming at Ascendio 2012 and is the chair of the Slash and Queer Lit programming track at Leviosa 2016.
In Her Own Words
My primary fandom is Harry Potter. This is my home, and the one in which I play the most. I am an unabashed fangirl of the HBP movie, mainly for the scene in which Snape throws Draco up against the wall and has his wicked way with him. (WHAT? It was so there.) I ship Snape/Draco and Harry/Draco hardcore, though I'm also terribly fond of Harry/Viktor, Albus Severus/Viktor, Snape/Narcissa, Snape/Pansy, Pansy/Harry, Pansy/Blaise and Millicent with pretty damn much anyone. My most recent non-HP fannish obsessions appears to be the entire England cricket team, though Steve Finn and Stuart Broad are my favorites.Other fandoms whose perimeters I dabble around at the moment include Glee and Dr Who, although I mostly just lurk. Be forewarned, though, I'm a staunch noromo when it comes to Doctor Who. I'm also quite possibly the only Adrien Brody/Daniel Vosovic shipper in existence. \0/ ...
Give me your poor, your tired, your cranky misanthropic bastards and your idealistic tormented woobies. :D In other words, some of my favourite people to read and write about are Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter, Severus Snape, Millicent Bulstrode, Pansy Parkinson, Viktor Krum, Blaise Zabini, Narcissa Malfoy, and Eileen Prince. In the past I also have been known to write RPF about the boys from Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and The Used.[1]

Unlike DementorDelta or Julia, Femme’s stories are less romantic and more dramatic. Lots of suspense, some action, and just enough angst to keep you on the edge.The relationships between characters are more complex. She doesn’t write an idyllic of Snape and Harry being each other one and only love. They both usually have go through other relationships before coming together. However, that doesn’t mean they love the other person less or each other more. That’s not how love works.
Her fics, as I will probably mentions many many times, are well researched. Attention to details either in the description or dialogue give everything a realistic feel that will suck you into the setting.
Slight warning though, she usually has Snaco as a pre-pairing, though he’s usually dead or soon to be dead by the start of the fic...[2]
