Cinderella is a classic fairy tale first published by Charles Perrault in 1697 and popularized by the 1950 Disney film adaption. Other variants of the tale include "Cenerentola" by Giambattista Basile, the work Perrault originally based his story on, and "Aschenputtel", published by the Brothers Grimm in 1812.
The story and characters are both popular for fairy tale fusions and crossovers.

- Disney's Cinderella (1950), which had two sequels (2002, 2007)
- Cinderella is a main character in the Into the Woods theatre musical (1980s - present).
- Cinderella (1997), a musical TV film starring Brandy as Cinderella.
- Ever After (1998), a retelling film of the Cinderella story
- Cinderella appears in The 10th Kingdom miniseries (2000) - one of the oldest living fabled-princesses of the Nine Kingdoms
- Cinderella often appears in various episodes of Once Upon a Time (2011–present), along with Prince Thomas (aka Cinderella's Prince Charming). Their Storybrooke personas are named Ashley Boyd and Sean Herman.
- Anastasia, one of Cinderella's step-sisters, also appears as a main character in the spin-off Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Ashley and her Evil Step-Mother also appeared briefly in the series.
- A Cinderella Story (2004), is a modern film retelling of the fairytale. It had two sequels/spin-offs Another Cinderella Story and A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song.
- Cinder (2012), a novel by Marissa Meyer loosely based on the fairy tale.
- Cinderella (2015), a live action film starring Lily James as Cinderella.
