Into the Woods is a musical that intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales and follows them to explore the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests. Many of the characters are from "Little Red Riding Hood," "Jack and the Beanstalk," "Rapunzel," and "Cinderella" fairy tales including several others.

Fans have started shipping the Baker's Wife/Prince Charming and Cinderella/Baker.
Crossovers with Star Trek (2009) universe might become more common due to Chris Pine starring as the Prince Charming; many fans of the fandom like to do same-actor crossovers.
