Welcome to Fanlore, Pcdfanwriter! --MPH (talk) 14:51, 3 September 2020 (UTC)

I saw by your edit to The Kuryakin File that there were some broken links to stories, so I went ahead and replaced all the online links with archived links. If you find broken links on Fanlore, and know how to use the Wayback Machine, you can replace dead links with an archived one. Some pages have already been archived by the Wayback Machine, and if they aren't, you can pro-actively make an archive link using that feature "Save Page Now" on that site's front page. --MPH (talk) 14:55, 3 September 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for the tips

I am not familiar very much with the Way back Machine, but I appreciate your information. Pcdfanwriter (talk) 23:38, 7 September 2020 (UTC)

Is and Was

I saw that you changed the "is" to a "was" on the https://fanlore.org/w/index.php?title=On_the_Double&action=history page. I used "is" on all the zine pages I've made, a decision I made in 2009 when I started adding zines to Fanlore. My reason was the zine is still a zine, even if it's long out of production. My logic is likely my own, and I totally understand why you changed it to "was."

I also want to thank you for link checking and pointing out errors on the zine pages. It is much appreciated. :-)--MPH 01:46, 5 February 2024 (UTC)

You're welcome! About "is' or "was"-- I thought we should follow the usage for people with publications. I was a librarian, and "ceased" is used for a good reason when a magazine is no longer being produced.
