Lord Voldemort, born Tom Marvolo Riddle, is the chief villain of the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling.
Canon
In line with the events of the original book series, Tom Riddle | Voldemort has never shown any kind of romantic interest or love for anyone. Harry Potter author Rowling has confirmed that the character never cared for or loved anyone.[1] She has also said that "he loved only power, and himself".[2] But with the addition of the book Cursed Child in the canon timeline, a relationship was created between him and his follower Bellatrix Lestrange that resulted in the birth of a daughter, Delphini, although some fans do not acknowledge the events of the "Cursed Child" play as canon.
Fandom
Because of Voldemort's villainous nature, and lack of emotions possibly due to his birth and lifestyle, some stories revolving around him have strong graphic content, with the most common darker themes being torture, death, slavery and rape. This does not exclude, of course, the creation of lighter fanworks, having a lot of fluffiness.
Fan fiction about him popularly explores his youth at Hogwarts and the years before he became the Dark Lord or events during the First Wizarding War. He is also a common character in AU stories in which the dark side has won the war.
