The Batman is an WB Kids animated television series based on the DC Comics superhero Batman that aired for five seasons. It is not connected with the Timmverse (Batman: The Animated Series/The New Batman Adventures/Batman Beyond) and it is not connected with Batman series that came after Batman: The Brave and The Bold.

Canon

A young Bruce Wayne is in his third year of trying to establish himself as Batman, protector of Gotham City. Living in Gotham, a metropolis where shadows run long and deep, beneath elevated train tracks, this younger Batman will confront each of his familiar foes for the first time.

The Batman Strikes! is a DC comic book series that is a spin-off comic book series of The Batman.
