Template talk:CommunityProfile

Is it possible to add a different section for Maintainer(s), Past Moderator(s), and/or Other Community Contributor(s)? Or would that be going overboard with too many little details? --wistfuljane 19:52, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

I was worried that it would get too long, but I did wonder if an optional second template could be added for people who want to add more information. Such as, the CommunityProfile template and CommExtendedProfile set below it, if that makes sense. Good idea, bad idea? --Seperis 20:13, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

I think having a simple CommunityProfile and an optional extended one would be a good idea. Some comms don't need all that info, but obviously, some comms do - I'm thinking of comms like newsletter or the like, where the roster of editors/mods doesn't usually stay the same compare to its founding days. --wistfuljane 20:25, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

I'm working on it now. I have so far Membership (Open, Moderated, Closed), Membership Number, Current Staff, and Previous Staff. Can you think of anything else? I know there's other info that would be useful for quick look, but I am totally blanking. --Seperis 21:21, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Is this template just for LJ communities and the like? I am doing a page for a fanclub (Detective Armani), there's also a mailing list and a webpage, and this template doesn't quite fit.
