Usage

This is the generic template for fan communities. This template automatically adds the article to the Category:Fan Communities. Please manually add a fan activity subcategory (such as Vidding) if relevant.

Before using this template, please review the list below to see if there is a platform specific or activity specific community template that you can use instead:

• For journal-based communities (online communities on services like LiveJournal, Journalfen, InsaneJournal, Dreamwidth, etc.), use the journal community template instead.
• For Challenges that have an associated community (e.g. on LiveJournal), use the Challenge template if your article is not primarily about the community.
• For Usenet newsgroups, use the Usenet template.
• For Tumblr blogs, use the Tumblr template.
• For mailing lists, use the mailing list template.
• For messageboards, use the forum template.
• For websites, use the website template.
• For Discord servers, use the Discord template
• For Subreddits, use the subreddit template
• For FanClubs, use the fan club template
