Talk:WOW Women of Wrestling

I mentioned that one of the WOW boards on Ezboard had a fan fiction section. I wrote one of those stories, a series titled The WOW Revolution, about the 17 best wrestlers and heroic psycho ref Josh Milton entering the then-World Wrestling Federation after WOW closed in early 2001. (Some of the ideas I was coming up with wouldn't have fit the series, leading to me stopping it and restarting The JWL, which I first created briefly in 1999. The faction The Revolution was a direct descendant of the one in The WOW Revolution, with Ivory and Molly Holly leading a group of WOW alumnae. Lisa "Ivory" Moretti started her career as Tina Ferrari in GLOW. Nora "Molly Holly" Greenwald was the only member of The Revolution who was not a McLane alumna, having trained under Dean Malenko and starting in Florida independents before going on to WCW and WWE.)

The reason I bring this up is that there are no WOW Women of Wrestling stories on AO3, and I don't like not being able to list any kind of fan works, and I'm not sure if it would be appropriate to list my series on the page. Thank you. JKFAN (talk) 23:15, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

Sure, you can link to that! It would be nice if you could find fanficiton (on the same or different sites) by other authors, too, because we always want variety, but if all you've got is what you've written, that's fine. And definitely it's okay to link to fanfiction that's not on AO3. On the Gardens Fic page I've definitely linked to a bunch of fanfiction.net forum posts as examples because that's where the fandom wrote everything for several years.
Since the work isn't on AO3, though, you should probably also archive the page. - Hoopla (talk) 05:54, 14 March 2019 (UTC)
