(I think we have enough examples for a page along the lines of Characters Exceedingly Fond of Their Mode of Transport (or, er, something)... - I think sentient animals would be a bit too broad. Perhaps another page, such as (fantastic) animal companions? That could cover non-romantic relationships, too, such as the psychic bonds in Pern and Valdemar (although I know nothing of how fandom treats those relationships in fic). --Anenko 20:50, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

- That sounds like it'd work to me. (My interpretation is that the intention was to showcase the similarity in intense affection -- and for the Impala there's a pairing page highlighting that as well as a car-as-character page with some though lesser mentions, while for the Torino there isn't a pairing page but the intense affection does get mentions on the character page.) --Sk 18:07, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
