Talk:The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
Should the new Man form Uncle movie get its own page or just expand on this one? --Sari (talk) 05:15, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
- Should probably get its own page, just checked its AO3 page and it already has 1326 works... I was expecting a lot but not that much. This is awesome. Just watched the movie this week and loved it.--Harpie (talk) 03:18, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
- The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (television series) and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (2015 movie)? --MPH (talk) 21:39, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
- Okay. I'm going to make a The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015 film) page. But I'm not going to rename this main page as the original fandom is just so huge. I'll also make pages for Napoleon Solo (2015 film) and Illya Kuryakin (2015 film). If someone later wants to divide the 1960s character and television series up further, they can. --MPH (talk) 15:22, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
page capitalization
According to the Wikipedia page, the correct spelling of the 60s tv show was The Man from U.N.C.L.E.. Can we move this page, or is there a reason for the present capitalization?--aethel (talk) 20:24, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
- I vote for "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." --MPH (talk) 20:42, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
- OK, I moved it. Thanks!--==

Mailing Lists
/* Mailing Lists */ can anyone figure out how to archive the live links to these mailing lists, or find archived links to hook up? I've failed. --MPH (talk) 12:23, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
"Blocked by parents' groups"
I am looking now for evidence for the claim that this was never syndicated because it was "blocked by parents' groups". At that time, Action for Children's Television was the biggest such group, but they were mostly after Saturday morning cartoons, vitamin commercials, and commercials on children's tv in general. ??? --KTJ (talk) 16:28, 14 December 2019 (UTC)
Recent edits
I'm curious about some recent edits to the page, deleting references to the show's cultural impact and the fact that it was one of the first "media fandom" shows, with many devotees and numerous imitators. Is this information wrong? Maybe my memory has short-circuited. Would citations to notable references help? --KTJ (talk) 00:33, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- KTJ I believe that part was my editing error. I selected some repeated parts of the intro to remove and ended up messing up. Could you replace that part about cultural impact and if possible with quotes if you have them, that would be fantastic. And apologies for any problems editing the page -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 01:59, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
