additional images
There are a few more art pieces on the wiki by Brevig not listed on the page:
Are the first two the art pieces listed under the MediaWest*Con 2012 awards as "Personal Favorite: Sherlock & John by Lorraine Brevig"? Or does the award refer to this painting? Or maybe to something not posted online?
As an aside, oh my god, her work is amazing! And very unusual for post-Internet fandom? I don't see a lot of fanart oil paintings posted on the internet, but maybe there are more at conventions? I am also curious to know if she's been in fandom longer than the oldest example listed, because she seems to be in a lot of older fandoms. --æþel (talk) 23:16, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- I adore her work. I became familiar with her absolutely beautiful creations via Starsky & Hutch fandom, an older fandom itself, but I don't know Brevig's fannish history. I wish we did, and that it could be added to Fanlore.
- I'll add the Sherlock images to her gallery.
- Regarding the 2012 awards, I am unsure. [adding: yes, I think the John and Sherlock is that one. I'll add it with the AO3 link] --Mrs. Potato Head (talk) 23:33, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
