More examples and a spreadsheet

There's an intimidatingly long list of femslash ship names here that I haven't finished going through. A lot of sources of the ship names are collected here and a spreadsheet for ease of formatting the page is here. Spacegandalf (talk) 09:07, 14 June 2024 (UTC)

Explanation of Eras

This should go on the main page but sticking it here for now in case we re-do the main page. I used Wikipedia's timeline to make this but we condensed eras a bit more to keep the spreadsheet manageable (EDIT: and their Legends timeline might be useful to incorporate as well)-- Quaelegit (talk) 10:03, 14 June 2024 (UTC)

Translating the "Eras" in the table to canons:

Actually I'll go ahead and turn that into a table too:

Era In-universe timeline Canon Material
Old Republic three to four? thousands of years before OT Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, Star Wars: The Old Republic, also comics and novels (See Wikipedia)
High Repulic hundreds of years before OT The Acolyte tv series, several comics and novel series see wikipedia
Prequels Era decades before OT, particularly Anakin's pre-Vader life Star Wars/Prequel_Trilogy, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, ???books and comics???
Galactic Empire/Rebellion Era OT of course, but stuff during the 19 years before A New Hope also counts b/c Palpatine is emperor and all Star Wars/Original Trilogy, Rogue One, that Han Solo prequel film everyone hated, Andor, the Kenobi tv show, those video games Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Probably a LOT of EU and books and comics, TODO
New Republic/First Order Era after the OT Star Wars/Sequel Trilogy, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, the Ahsoka TV show, Wikipedia:Star Wars Resistance and the video game Wikipedia:Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge. And again probably a lot of books and comics TODO

the above table also by User:Quaelegit but anyone feel free to correct it/adjust, i'm not a Star Wars timeline or canon expert and my descriptions here probably aren't the best. -- Quaelegit (talk) 10:17, 14 June 2024 (UTC)

My draft of the eras table Spacegandalf (talk) 11:09, 14 June 2024 (UTC)

For ease of navigation, Star Wars is divided into eras. The ones this page is using is a mix of the old official Legends eras and New Canon eras.

Era In-universe timeline Canon Material
Old Republic Between 25,000-500 years before OT[1] Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, Star Wars: The Old Republic, also comics and novels (See Wikipedia).
High Republic 500-100 years before OT[2] The Acolyte tv series, several comics and novel series see Wikipedia
Prequels Era 100-19 years before OT[2] Star Wars/Prequel_Trilogy, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, various comics and novels
Galactic Empire/Rebellion Era OT of course, and also anything after the end of the Prequel Trilogy (i.e., the nineteen years between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope). Star Wars/Original Trilogy, Rogue One, Solo, Andor, the Kenobi tv show, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Many novels and comics.
New Republic/First Order Era after the end of the OT Sequel Trilogy, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, the Ahsoka TV show, Star Wars Resistance and the video game Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge. Many books and comics.
  1. ^ Leland Y Chee's official blog puts the end date at 1000 BBY, but to marry it with the High Republic, it makes more sense to extend it to 500 BBY.
  2. ^ a b According to Star Wars: Timelines by Kristin Baver, Jason Fry, Cole Horton, Amy Richau, and Clayton Sandell.
