Explanation of Eras

This should go on the main page but sticking it here for now in case we re-do the main page. For ease of navigation, Star Wars is divided into eras. The ones this page is using is a mix of the old official Legends eras and New Canon eras.

Era In-universe timeline Canon Material
Old Republic Between 25,000-500 years before OT[1] Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, Star Wars: The Old Republic, also comics and novels (See Wikipedia).
High Republic 500-100 years before OT[2] The Acolyte tv series, several comics and novel series see Wikipedia
Prequels Era 100-19 years before OT[2] Star Wars/Prequel_Trilogy, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, various comics and novels
Galactic Empire/Rebellion Era OT of course, and also anything after the end of the Prequel Trilogy (i.e., the nineteen years between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope). Star Wars/Original Trilogy, Rogue One, Solo, Andor, the Kenobi tv show, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Many novels and comics.
