Redirects aren't really meant to go to outside sources, they're for when there are two names for the same thing and you need all the names to go to one page. I think y'all should put together a little bit of content on this page instead (and you can still link to the AO3 source, just not as a redirect), even if it's just a stub. Or if you'd like some help, just let me know and i'd be happy to help out. I made a page for my little one shot if you wanna see what kind of info I included! --ShadowMayura (talk) 16:04, 6 July 2020 (UTC)

Yes, and this looks like spam. The fanwork was created one month ago and has the following stats: Comments: 25, Kudos: 65, Bookmarks: 5, Hits: 402. Same issue with Lost Song. It looks like this user created an account, then created a link to their fic and the fic they beta'd in a recent challenge.--aethel (talk) 01:00, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
The editor has added an external link to this work on the page ScarletNightshade and external links might be the way to go. I think it's okay to create fanlore pages for one's own fics, in the same way fans can create their own fan pages. If the original editor chooses to update this page and Lost Song, with Template:Fanfiction, a summary of the fic and categories, then the pages can stay. But in their current format, I'd consider marking them for deletion. --Auntags (talk) 20:59, 8 July 2020 (UTC)

It's been a week, so I'm marking both pages for deletion. Anyone opposed has two weeks to raise an objection on the talk pages --Auntags (talk) 10:23, 14 July 2020 (UTC)

This isn't spam, and I'm fully aware that that's the case. I'm not one of the authors of this fic, but I do know all three of them, and they're still learning how to use this platform. I'd suggest leaving it for longer so they can figure it out. I've been meaning to help out too, but I haven't had the time so far. The same goes for Lost Song. --ShadowMayura (talk) 20:52, 14 July 2020 (UTC)

I agree this is not spam. The original editor or someone else has at least two weeks to make the edits suggested. In reality, now that you have raised an objection, it's likely gardeners will give these pages a little longer. However they cannot be allowed to stay in their current form. My talk page is always open if the editors want to ask any question about editing/creating Fanlore pages. --Auntags (talk) 10:19, 15 July 2020 (UTC)

I put in some base information which will hopefully be enough to prevent deletion? More to come, I'm sure. --ShadowMayura (talk) 03:26, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
