ScarletNightshade (commonly just called "Scarlet") is a fanartist, fanwriter, beta reader, and cosplayer for several fandoms and communities. Their current base of operations is the southeastern US. They are primarily in the Miraculous Ladybug, Kuroshitsuji, My Hero Academia, and Hellsing fandoms, though they were active in other fandoms in the past under different aliases.
Fanfiction and Beta Reading
ScarletNightshade currently has six main fanfiction on AO3, counting the recently acquired the cure for neglect. To date, the most popular on their own page is the ongoing the fault of social media, a hurt/comfort post-canon piece for the miraculous ladybug fandom being cowritten with lapaslove
They have served as a beta reader for Lorraining_B_Writing for their last three fanfiction, including Lost Song for the GabeNath Mini Bang of 2020, as well as betaing for a handful of other writers over their 14 years in fanfiction.
Event Participation
In addition to writing and Betaing in their free time, Scarlet has been an active participant in a handful of events. In early 2020, they participated in the 2020 Gabenath Mini bang as a Beta Reader and a Writing Pinch Hitter, ultimately collaborating with MyMayura and ReminiscentLullaby for Don't Remember Where I Was When the Feeling Changed.
In June 2020, She took part in the GabeNath Wedding Style Pile as an artist
In July 2020, Scarlet signed on as a beta reader and pinch hitter once again for the GabeNath Reverse Bang. In addition however, this time she will be participating as a solo writer for her own piece as well.
Cosplay
ScarletNightshade has been an active member of the cosplay community for the last eight years. Their works have been featured on tiktok, instagram, facebook, and youtube. Their home conventions are AgamaCon in Aiken SC and Anime Weekend Atlanta and MomoCon in Atlanta GA.
