Summary
- Nathalie is a mermaid who lives in the sea south of King Gabriel's harbor with her amphibious son, Adrien. When she attempts to go on land despite it being forbidden, she is captured by the King's Guard, and Gabriel himself! She and her son are taken to the palace, where they stay indefinitely as prisoners. Only one problem: he's in love with her.

Ah goodness, this was such a lovely piece! ;-; <3I loved the universe this took place in, and when I saw the preview of this showing that it was going to be a Mermaid AU, I got so excited! I loved the way you wrote the characters, and Nathalie and Adrien's mother-son relationship brought such a smile to my face.
