Notable Works

Marvel Comics

Slipping off the Page into Your Hands Date: 2014Length: 68kGenre: Soulmates, Identity Porn
Soulmates have their first words to each other written on their wrists. This should make it easy. For Steve and Tony, it is anything but. Steve's problem is that the future he has awoken into is nothing he was ever expecting: he has a soulmate now. Who might be a robot. And if his soulmate is Iron Man, how can he be so attracted to Tony Stark? It should be impossible. Tony's problem is that he is Iron Man, his soulmate is a man whom he in no way deserves, and he is going to fight everything in his heart and do his best to make sure Steve never, ever finds out the whole truth.
Never Too Late For Love Date: 2017Length: 98kGenre: Soulmates
Steve has always believed that a soulbond is a blessing -- a rare and beautiful miracle, joining the thoughts and feelings of two people forever, from the first time they touch. Steve knows he's not going to be one of the lucky ones. He knows Gail isn't his soulmate. But he loves her, even if they're not soulmates, and he's going to do right by her. After the war's over, he's going to marry her, and they're going to settle down. They'll buy a house. They'll have children. He'll see his family again. Maybe Bucky will live next door. It's going to be a good life. He doesn't need a soulbond. He'll be fine without one.

Then Steve wakes up sixty years in the future to find that his wonderful life has moved on without him. His family is long dead. His fiancée married his best friend. And the only purpose he has left is leading the Ultimates, a misbegotten team of superheroes with flaws too numerous to count. Steve hates everything about the future -- but most of all he detests Tony, flashy and flirtatious, who embodies everything Steve hates about a world he never wanted to live in.

And, oh, yeah, Steve has a soulmate after all: Tony fucking Stark.
Think of This as Solving Problems (That Should Never Have Occurred) [1] Date: 2015Length: 35kGenre: Amnesia, Identity Porn
No one knows Tony is Iron Man. Then Tony gets amnesia, and literally no one knows Tony is Iron Man.
To Make Much of Time [2] Date: 2014Length: 16kGenre: Identity Porn, Time Travel
When Iron Man rejects Steve's romantic advances, Steve is disappointed, but of course he understands -- Iron Man's secret identity is important. But when a portal opens and Tony Stark crashes into their midst from twelve years in the future, Steve starts to suspect that there are more secrets here than he can even begin to comprehend, and neither Iron Man nor Tony are providing any answers.
Follow in Your Footsteps [3] Date: 2015Length: 7kGenre: Soulmates
When Tony is twelve, his soulmate's name appears on his wrist. Unfortunately, it's hard to find out anything at all about Steve Rogers. It turns out there's a reason for that.
Like a Comet Streaming On [4] Date: 2015Length: 32kGenre: AU, Psychic Bond, Psychic Wolves
Tony escapes Afghanistan with a functioning Iron Man suit and a perfectly normal heart. He even manages to bring Ho Yinsen home safely at his side. But he may as well have lost everything... because his wolfbrother is dead. Six months later, the Avengers find Captain America, frozen in ice, miraculously alive. Everything and everyone Steve has ever known is gone -- except his wolfsister, the recipient of the lupine version of the super-soldier serum, who was frozen in his arms. Tony has everything but his wolf. Steve has only his wolf. This is how their lives fit together.

The Professionals

Special Men Date: 2010Length: 25kGenre: Harry Potter fusion
It is 1975, the height of the First Wizarding War, and Voldemort's reign of terror has spread far and wide. His followers, the Death Eaters, have begun cursing and killing Muggles. As CI5's brief includes domestic terrorism, the responsibility for stopping Voldemort falls on them -- but this is not a fight they can win without magic. For this reason, Ray Doyle, an Auror, is transferred from the Ministry of Magic to join CI5, as its first and only wizard. But his abilities must remain secret from his fellow agents, including Bodie, his new partner. But Bodie seems to have a few secrets of his own, and it especially doesn't help that Bodie is so damned attractive...
Arcadia Date: 2012Length: 90kGenre: Fake/Pretend Relationship
To catch an unknown assassin, Bodie and Doyle head undercover on a cruise ship, posing as a couple. Aboard the ship are many people from Bodie's past, and any one of them could be their suspect. In the course of the investigation, Doyle discovers that there are a great many things he would never have guessed about Bodie's former life... and about his own feelings for his partner.

The Eagle of the Ninth

From the Depths of His Heart Date: 2012Length: 30k
After his injury at Isca Dumnoniorum and subsequent discharge from the army, Marcus moves to Calleva, learns to live with himself again, and happens to fall in love with a young British man on the way. Also, Esca is a werewolf.
Vae Victis Date: 2012Length: 131kGenre: Historical AU
War looms on the horizon as Marcus' homeland of Etruria is faced with the unreasoning demands of the Gauls, a vicious, deadly foe. Young and lonely, Marcus begins a tentative friendship -- a friendship that could become something more -- with Esca, a prince of the Gauls. But the differences of the two nations cannot be ignored, and both Marcus and Esca must choose between the needs of their peoples and the desires of their hearts.
Chosen Man [5] Date: 2013Length: 116kGenre: Military AU
The son of the man who lost the Eagle of the Ninth would never be allowed a first command of his very own fort, would he?

Marcus is posted not to Isca Dumnoniorum, but to a wretched and run-down garrison north of the Wall. There he finds that he is the new centurion of a group of scouts and spies, all of them British. He has few supplies and no experience. His men distrust him. His superiors despise him. His second-in-command is an incompetent drunkard. And the local tribes are determined to kill all of them.

But the worst thing of all is one of Marcus' soldiers. He is an enigmatic, dangerous, and insubordinate man by the name of Esca, who makes Marcus yearn for terrifying things he has never before wanted and can never, ever let himself have...

Sineala has issued a blanket statement for derivative works:

You have my permission (and encouragement) to podfic, translate, illustrate, remix, fanmix, vid, cosplay, or do anything else transformative that you can think of to any public work of fanfiction I have written as the sole original author. All fannish transformative activities are a go. I ask that you credit me as the original author, link to the original, and either give me a link when you're done or link whatever it is to the original under Related Works on AO3 -- because I want to see!
