2007 Award Banner
The Shelly Awards are Farscape Fan Video awards. The awards were started by LithiumDoll in 2002. While Farscape Fan fiction had the Sparkys Awards, there were no awards for vidders. Starting in 2005, LT Garrix took over the coordination of the "behind the scenes" activity.

- 1812 Award. Instrumental. Any video that's no singing, all dancing
- Back and Back and Back Award. Episode / Two-Parter / Trilogy. Any video which uses clips exclusively from single or connected episodes
- Coup by Clam Award. Life Time Achievement. For second year vidders and beyond
- Crackers Don't Matter Award. Theme: Comed. Mutually exclusive from Infinite Possibilites and Season of Death
- Destiny's Couple Award. Shippy John/Aeryn. Mutually exclusive from A Human Reaction and Out of Their Minds
- Half a Microt Award. 3 Minute vids not including credits or intro/exit clips. Mutually exclusive from Won't Get Fooled Again
- Have I Got Your Attention Now? Award. Advert / Recruitment.
- How Batman Was That? Award. Theme: Action
- Infinite Possibilities Award. Theme: Drama. Mutually exclusive from Crackers Don't Matter
- La Bomba Award. Favourite Vid for the year.
- Natural Election. First timers.
- Won't Get Fooled Again. Spoofs of TV or movie credits. Mutually exclusive from Half a Microt
- PK Tech Vid Award. Technical use of effects both visual and audio, including dialogue
- Season Of Death Award. Theme: Tragedy. Mutually exclusive from Crackers Don't Matter
- Suns And Lovers Award. Shippy Other Pairings. Mutually exclusive from A Human Reaction and Out of Their Minds
- Thanks For Sharing Award. Theme: Friendship/Buddy. Mutually exclusive from A Human Reaction and Out of Their Minds
- Microt Award. Any vid greater than 5 minutes, not counting credits or intro/exit clips
- A Human Reaction Award. Character Study for John Crichton. Mutually exclusive with , Mental As Anything, Destiny's Couple and Suns and Lovers
- Mental As Anything. Character study for the guys. Mutually exclusive with Suns and Lovers
- Bringing Home the Beacon. Character study for the gals. Mutually exclusive with Suns and Lovers and Destiny's Couple
From the 2007 FAQ:
- Why are some categories mutually exclusive? In 2005 I noticed that some vids were not compatible with more than one category. For exampe Destiny's Couple/Suns and Lovers and Out of the Their Minds/A Human Reaction. To be a good character study, the shippy aspect would be de-emphasized and vice versa. A good shippy vid is generally not about a single character, so choose your category wisely. If a vid is nominated in both categories, I will contact the vidder for a preference unless I see it clearly tipping one way or the other. Another would be Crackers Don't Matter and either Infinite Possibilities or Season of Death. Comdey and Drama/Tragedy are exact opposites. The full list is in the category description.
In additional, every year vidders would be inducted into the "Shelly Hall of Fame". Again from the 2007 FAQ: Members of the Hall of Fame are vidders that have consistently produced excellent work. The criteria are as follows: have earned 20 vidder points and hve received wins in a minimum of 5 categories. Source: Hall of Fame page; WebCite.

- In The End by Lithium Doll won the 2003 Clamshell for Best Drama. The vid was included in the Farscape Canada Media Kits that were sent various TV columnists across Canada in order to draw their attention to Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars.
- Love Over This - Coldplay - Politik by Dallascaper won a 2003 Shelly Award for Best Character Study
- Scorpy Went Down to Georgia - Charlie Daniels Band by Dallascaper won two 2003 Shelly Awards: Best Character Study and Best Technical Effects.
- Always Look on the Bright Side of Life by Monty Python by fran (macfranc) won an unspecified Shelly Award
- Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson by Dallascaper won a 2003 Shelly Award for Best Episode/Two Parter/Trilogy
- Hold Me, Trill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me by U2 by Lithium Doll won the 2003 Clamshell for Best Action.
- Friller by Michael Jackson by Farscape Fran won for Best Horror.
- Eyes of Truth by Enigma Lithium Doll for Best < 3 Minute Video
- 1812 by Tchaikovsky by Dallascaper won for Best Instrumental.
- Behind Blue Eyes by Limp Bizkit by Dangerous Minds Productions won for Best Character Study.
- Endogamous Penis by Davinci's Notebook by Hank won Best Comedy.
- "Everybody Hurts" by REM by Scape Sisters (aka AnduraNova) won in the Friendship category.
- Blurry by Puddle of Mudd by LT Garrix won for Best Other Shipper.
